Talia Horsburgh, known commonly online by her alias Orbitalswan, is an internationally recognised manga style illustrator and author. Born in 1996 in Orange, New South Wales Australia, Talia began her passion for drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil. Her love for art and anime grew at the age of 5 when she got her first anime DVD, Sailor Moon. From this moment, she began to draw and create as many characters and stories as she could. She continued pursuing her artistic passion, winning art awards during her time at high school. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2016 at The Queensland College of Art at South Bank, Brisbane, majoring in Printmaking. Since graduating, Talia has had the opportunity to work with companies such as Hasbro and teach manga drawing workshops to teams from notable companies such as Google, Pinterest, Youtube, Canva and many more. Talia's first authored and illustrated book, "The Art of Drawing Manga", released worldwide June 2022 with Walter Foster Publishing and Quarto Creates. Her second book "The Art of Drawing Manga Furries" released March 2023, with a colouring book coming later 2023.
